Dragoncon 2009 rooms booked as of 11pm last night LOL.
Apparently everyone started calling at 11/midnight Atlanta time – Chase said the woman on the phone said they were swamped with calls.
We are headed to Nashville this weekend – Monday we are doing some promo stuff for the hockey game our garrison is doing in November – I guess like promo pics and video for the jumbotron. Chase *really* wanted to go so we’re going. We’re going to head up on Sunday, though, to take some pics – I let Chase pic the costumes/locations since I didn’t really feel like deciding LOL We’re going to do the new ame-comi Wonder Woman at the Parthenon, same place we did Kingdom Come last year, and he’s got some other place picked out for Black Canary. Speaking of which, I bought a new wig that looks so much like the Adam Hughes art – or at least it did in the auction picture! – that should be coming this week, so I’ll have that for the new photos.
I also apparently am in Wizard magazine for the Halloween costume contest. I submitted some of my Kingdom Come Wonder Woman photos and apparently made it in. Have no idea what, if anything, I won, since the magazine isn’t on stands yet, and I haven’t heard anything from Wizard. I just keep hearing from people that I’m in there. It’s driving me crazy not being able to get a hold of a copy!
